In our second Corporate Access Symposium, we partnered with Singapore Exchange (SGX) to host the Symposium at SGX Centre. The event featured a morning conference featuring three speakers from the property industry, namely Mr. Galven Tan (Executive Director, Capital Markets CBRE Singapore), Mr Matthew Ong (CEO, SLB Development) and Alan Cheong (Senior Director & Head of Real Estate Research and Consultancy, Savills Singapore) who each spoke about the local property market. This was followed by a panel discussion with on “Is it time to Invest in Property?”. The panel was moderated by Money FM 89.3 Producer and Finance presenter Mr. Ryan Huang, and he was joined by Galven Tan, Alan Cheong and Jonathan Phua (CEO, TEE Land) on the panel. The panelists discussed about the current market landscape and also took questions from the audience.
As the invited institutional investors and high net worth individuals took the lunch break, the management from Sasseur REIT, Hong Lai Huat Group, and Sunpower Group lined-up for the exclusive interview with Money FM 89.3. The interview was conducted by Mr. Ryan Huang, with guests such as Mr. Anthony Ang (CEO, Sasseur REIT), Mr. Dylan Ong (Director, subsidiaries of Hong Lai Huat Group) and Mr. Gregory Yap (Investor Relations Representative, Sunpower Group). All guests accepted video recorded interviews, which were subsequently broadcasted live on Money FM radio network.
In the afternoon session, the invited investors attended meetings categorized under three main themes – Property, Healthcare and China. SLB Development, Uni-Asia, and Hong Lai Huat were featured under the Property segment, while Asian Healthcare Specialists and Aoxin Q&M Dental featured under the Healthcare segment. Last but not least, EC World REIT, Sunpower Group, Sasseur REIT and China Aviation Oil was featured under the China theme.
